Full board or Self Catering;

There is the option of either having all of the catering on board as part of the Taster package or for a cheaper option to be self catering.  Please discuss your preference or any dietry requirements with you captain when booking.

CRUISE OPTIONS.

Miss Molly cruises are essentially a Chartered boat where the Captain and crew manage the craft and ensure the safety of all of those on board.

The following proposed cruise options are available;

1.) Taster weekends for those wanting to experience operating a narrow boat before either hiring a narrow boat for one or two weeks.

2.) Taster weekends for those thinking about buying a boat to either live on board or to cruise their own boat for them selves.

3.) Romantic weekends.

4.) An easy relaxing, Do Nothing, enjoy the cruise

Any of the above options can be discussed with your captain to suit your own individual requirements.

Rendezvous Times and locations;

To start the really restful weekend, your Captain and crew meet you at the agreed rendezvous location at 6pm on a Friday evening for a safety briefing and get you settled on board. We cruise all day Saturday and Sunday and arrive at the departure point at 6pm on a Sunday evening. It can either be a return trip to the same start location or by moving two cars, the cruise could end some 20 miles away at the final departure point.

 Sleeping Accommodation.

Miss Molly sleeps four people so that if you are a party of two and if you agree, the Captain and crew can sleep on board for the weekend.  If not then the Captain and crew would leave the boat for the night and find alternative accommodation.

Costs.

For the Charter Hire of Miss Molly and her Captain for one weekend, the minimum charge is £240.  This covers for all of the following;

Full use of the boat under the guidance of the Captain.

Full use of all of the facilities on board.

All of the running costs including fuel, water and consumables.

Insurance for the boat and Public liability insurance.

Light refreshments on board, lunches and snacks. The Client will then either bring their own food for the other meals or eat out at any of the frequent pubs and restaurants on the canal side.

Sleeping accommodation for two people if Captain and one crew member stays on board overnight.

Servicing of the boat and emptying of the Thetford cassette.

Additional Charges.

There will be an additional charge if the Captain and crew leave the boat for the two nights at £60 for the weekend. This applies for weekends where there are four people on board or for  Romantic weekends when for obvious reasons the couple would like the boat to them selves.

If a full board option is required, all meals, including breakfasts and evening meals will be provided to suit either two or four people. For two the additional charge is £60 and for four people it is £120.  This does not include for any alcoholic drinks which can be brought on board by the Clients as you wish.
