Canal Boat Rendezvous.
Rendezvous times & locations.
Rendezvous locations are chosen so as to provide safe hard quayside areas with good public road access and car parking facilities. Where we meet depends on the location and duration of your cruise; either a short two hours, a full day or a Taster weekend. This will of course be all agreed with your Captain before hand so that all you have to do is enjoy your cruise and relax.
Location Availability
Please note that Miss Molly will only be available where she will be moored for the week prior to the hire. Due to the slow rate of travel and the cost of cruising, it is not practical to move her to any specific location. However, if you wish to cruise along any particular section of the canal network, i.e. the Llangollen canal, then this could be arranged by prior long term notice and co-ordination with the Captain.
Taster weekends
To start a really restful weekend your captain and crew meet you at the agreed rendezvous location at 6pm of the Friday evening for a safety briefing and to get you all settled on board. We cruise all day Saturday and Sunday and arrive back at the original start point by 6pm on the Sunday evening. It can either be a return trip to the same point or a single one way cruise by moving two cars on the Friday evening so that we have a car at each end before we set out. One way cruises can have the advantage of bringing in aqueducts, lift bridges, locks and tunnels all within a 20-30 mile cruise depending on your requirements.
